The name Jefferies appears in records of English glove making as early as the 1820s. Chester Jefferies, who founded the company in 1936, was a direct descendant of the original Jefferies glove makers. Still a family run business, Chester Jefferies enjoys a worldwide reputation for excellence in the design and making of fine quality leather gloves. The gloves are handmade in England with leather cut the traditional way, by hand. Made using leather from Pittards, another proudly British company.

The Arena is an elegant & practical choice for riders. Made from water repellent Capeskin leather it is available in a wide choice of colours. The velcro strap ensures a secure and snug fit.

This glove is made with “Quirks” — Small diamond shaped pieces of leather sewn at the base of the fingers, where they are attached to the hand of the glove to improve the fit.

We keep the standard colours in stock: black, mocca brown, tan, navy and sunshine. A fantastic range of non-standard colours is available (supplement applies) – these will be made to order and you may need to wait up to six weeks for your gloves to arrive – but you will then be the owner of a very special pair of gloves.
